PICS Society proposes the development of the Intercultural Hub for International Students which will be a one-stop-shop specifically designed to support international students in starting up or restarting their new life in Canada.

INTERNATIONAL CREDENTIAL RECOGNITION PROGRAM

This program is designed specifically for International Students in Canada who have impressive backgrounds from their home countries but are struggling to connect the dots and find employment in their specialized field.

Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR) Loans Program

FCR Program is funded by Government of Canada that helps Internationally Trained Professionals to get back into their professional field or alternative related career field.

RBC Helping Youth Preparing for Employment (HYPE) Program

The Youth Resource Hub provides employment services via one on one workshops, academic coaching and networking opportunities. Youth between the ages of 13-29 are welcome to drop-in and take advantage of the friendly ambiance, access to computers, WiFi and other amenities.

PICS Intercultural Volunteer Hub (IVH) Program

The PICS IVH Program is your gateway to diverse and enriching volunteering opportunities. We bring together volunteers from various cultural backgrounds to participate in initiatives that promote diversity, innovation, and skill development. Whether you’re seeking to contribute your talents, learn new skills, or connect with like-minded individuals, our program is is designed with you in mind.

Access to Legal Empowerment (ALE)

Access to Legal Empowerment program is about empowering the people of British Columbia by giving them concise and clear access to legal information needed to know about BC’s law system.

BCSIS Settlement & Integration Program

BC Settlement and Integration Services (BCSIS) Program offers settlement and integration services to eligible clients in the city of Surrey and North Delta to support the social and economic integration of newcomers to the province who are not eligible for federal settlement services and face unique barriers and challenges to integration that necessitate settlement supports.

International Student Support Program

This program organizes focused workshops on immigration regulations, financial literacy and banking advisory, employment standards, Canadian laws, and legal rights, followed by open floor discussions, and breakout rooms for opportunities to address specific queries for International students.

PICS Income Tax Clininc

Through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), PICS host free tax clinic where volunteers complete tax returns for people with a modest income and a simple tax situation.

Skills for Success Survey Project

Skills for Success are the foundational skills we use in working, learning, and daily life. They help us adapt to change, learn other new skills, and thrive in daily life. They help us to get a job, progress at our current job or change jobs.

The Canadian Federal Government-funded Foreign Credentials Recognition (FCR) for Internationally Educated Health Professionals (IEHP) program is dedicated to facilitating the seamless integration of newcomers into the healthcare sector.
