Employment & Settlement Support for People with Disabilities

The PICS Settlement Department provides customized and individualized job search-related support for immigrants with disabilities. It aims to assist eligible clients to prepare for, obtain and maintain employment by overcoming barriers and challenges when entering the Canadian labor market.

Access to Legal Empowerment (ALE)

Access to Legal Empowerment program is about empowering the people of British Columbia by giving them concise and clear access to legal information needed to know about BC’s law system.

Intercultural Youth Service Corps (IYSCorps)

IYSCORPS IS A FREE 17-WEEK PROGRAM that allows youth living in British Columbia to enhance their skills and gain access to more career opportunities and promote civic engagement. It is a community needs-driven, skills enhancement, and volunteer program that adopts an all-encompassing approach to empower youth throughout BC, offering a diverse array of enriching activities.

Intercultural Skills for Success Training Project (ISST)

Retail, Warehousing, Supply Chain and Logistics - STE

This program is designed to empower eligible participants, especially Recent Immigrants, Refugees, and Visible Minorities with limited Canadian education, working experience and language proficiency.

PICS Income Tax Clininc

Through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), PICS host free tax clinic where volunteers complete tax returns for people with a modest income and a simple tax situation.

Abilities Empowerment Services

This unique Opportunities Fund Project is designed to assist persons with diverse abilities with their employment goals. Participants will have the attention and care of working one on one with a Case Manager as well as the chance to enhance their employability skills in individual and group workshops
