About IDHSA Training Program
PICS is proud to present Intercultural Digital Hospitality Skills Accelerator Training Program in partnership with SBOT and WCC. This program is for 9 weeks and 100% free. The program provides foundational and functional digital skills to individuals seeking employment opportunities or transitioning to employment in digital hospitality industry.
The project focuses on foundational and functional digital skills which includes basic digital literacy and proficiency in using computers, navigating digital tools, and understanding internet usage. These skills will help participants effectively utilize digital technologies in the hospitality industry.
Modules included
- Digital Skills Foundations and Technological Training for Client Support Attendants (includes digital marketing/social media management)
- Electronic Bookkeeping for Hospitality Professionals
- Transformational Front of House Customer Service, Sales, and Upselling (use of Hotel Logix hotel simulation software and POS simulator)
- Food and Beverage Customer Service
- Introduction to Event Planning
- Leadership and Management in a Digital World
Program Structure
- ETraining Institution: Western Community College
- E6 weeks online Monday to Friday (9AM - 4PM)
- E3 Weeks of in-person practicum training
