BOARD RECRUITMENT

Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Society was established in 1987 and is a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) internationally accredited community-based non-profit service provider with an annual budget of $21 million that assists immigrants and the local community members by providing a comprehensive network of services and programs in the Lower Mainland with offices located in Surrey, Vancouver, Delta and Prince George.  PICS services focus on a full range of support activities that involve: informing, training, guiding, mentoring, counselling, educating, bridging, nurturing and empowering its clients to build a more inclusive and respectful society.

PICS is a very trusted and respected organization in the region because of its leadership role in identifying and fulfilling the needs of the local community.  PICS in partnership with different levels of Government, educational institutions and the local service providers, has successfully provided various programs and services to immigrants and general clients in the region. The overwhelming support and demand for more services in the community coupled with encouraging feedback from clients and case managers, as well as its excellent track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding project targets, is a testimony to the organizational capacity, service diversity, and the quality of services provided by PICS.
