About Employment & Settlement Support for People with Disabilities Program
The PICS Settlement Department provides customized and individualized job search-related support for immigrants with disabilities. It aims to assist eligible clients to prepare for, obtain and maintain employment by overcoming barriers and challenges when entering the Canadian labor market. The services are provided one-on-one and/or in group settings based on clients’ needs and preferences.
The support services offered:

Eligibility Criteria
There are 2 sub programs offered; each with its own requirements.
Program 1
- Permanent Resident Card Holders
- Refugees
And
- Self-declared disability
Program 2
- Temporary Work Permit Holders
- International Students
- Canadian Citizens
- Refugee/ Refugee Claimant
And
- Self-declared disability
