About Employment & Settlement Support for People with Disabilities Program
The PICS Settlement Department provides customized and individualized job search-related support for immigrants with disabilities. It aims to assist eligible clients to prepare for, obtain and maintain employment by overcoming barriers and challenges when entering the Canadian labor market. The services are provided one-on-one and/or in group settings based on clients’ needs and preferences.
The support services offered:

Eligibility Criteria
Immigration Status + Current resident of BC
- Permanent Resident
- Individual who has been selected to become PR
- Refugee or Refugee Claimant
- Temporary Foreign Worker (work permit Holders)
Other
- Self-declared disability
*1 item from each category must be met to be eligible
