About (BC SAFE HAVEN) Program
BC Services and Assistance for Humanitarian and Vulnerable Newcomers (BC SAFE HAVEN) is an initiative funded by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills to support Refugee Claimants and other humanitarian newcomers settling in Delta.
BC SAFE HAVEN provides services to Refugee Claimants who are not eligible for settlement services under federal settlement programs. Through this initiative, the targeted group can access support to meet their settlement needs, including immigration information, job search assistance, and other support services.
Clinical counselling services are available to refugee claimants, individuals under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) visa, refugees, and other humanitarian pathways.
