About AES Program

This unique Opportunities Fund Project is designed to assist persons with diverse abilities with their employment goals. Participants will have the attention and care of working one on one with a Case Manager as well as the chance to enhance their employability skills in individual and group workshops. This program also features work experience placements to assist in gaining valuable job skills. You will find the abilities that you need to conquer the current job market here!

Eligibility Criteria

Immigration Status

  • Canadian citizens
  • Permanent Residents
  • Refugee Status and legally entitled to work in Canada

Other

  • Self-identify as having a permanent or recurring disability that is physical, mental or neurodevelopmental
  • Unemployed or Underemployed
  • 16 years of age or older

One or More of the following:

  • High school non-completion
  • Homeless or living in low-income household
  • Self-identified as LGBTQ2+
  • Involved in Criminal Justice System
  • Substance Abuse
  • Indigenous, visible minority, or racialized Canadians
  • Recent immigrant
  • Single parent
  • Not in any education, employment, or training in the last 6 months
