About (BC SAF HAVN) Program
BC Services and Assistance for Humanitarian and Vulnerable Newcomers (BC SAF HAVN) is an initiative funded by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to support the Refugee Claimants, Refugees, and other humanitarian newcomers settling in Surrey and North Delta. BC SAF HAVN provides services to the Refugee Claimants who are not eligible to receive settlement services under Federal settlement programs. Under BC SAF HAVN the targeted group can access to initial settlement needs, immigration information and support services, and more importantly clinical counselling services that is also available to the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) visa, Refugees and other humanitarian pathway.
