Together We Can Do It

Youth Mental Health and Well-being Emergency Community Support Fund

Start date: July 2, 2020

End date: March 31, 2021

Through this project, PICS  is supporting Youth with Mental Health Support and clinical counseling during pandemic of COVID-19. The issues resulted from the onset of pandemic of COVID-19 has left youth with no social communication and no connection with peers, school or community. Rather they are negatively affected with social isolation, depression and abuse both verbally and financially. MFFS is collaborating with PICS on this project as its objectives and goals align with our mandate and values. We provide this service both virtually and in-person keeping social distancing and other safety measures given by WorkBC & BC Centre for Disease Control. We will work towards youth connectedness with their peers, school, family, and community to promote their well-being during pandemic of COVID-19 and ensure that youth develops positive attitude towards life as a whole and stay motivated.
