Community Adult Literacy Program provides Free English classes for newcomers, citizens and work permit holders. Participants learn about the Canadian work culture such as resume writing, cover letter, job search, interview skills and work expectations. Students work and speak in pair or group activities. One on one assistance is available from trained volunteer teachers. Hands – on computers, visits to the WorkBC centre and guest speakers are part of the curriculum. Daily news events and other topics of interest to the students are part of the daily routine. This program focuses on both foundation and vocational skills. Free childcare is available for students with children.

Classes run every Tuesday morning from 9AM to 12PM and every Saturday 1:30PM to 3:30PM.

Free childminding available on Tuesday only.
