PICS Gender Based Violence program (GBV)

PICS Gender Based Violence program (GBV) is dedicated to support you if you have been a victim of any Gender Based Violence, such as:

  • Physical abuse
  • Sexual abuse
  • Emotional/ psychological abuse
  • Criminal harassment/ stalking
  • Technology assisted violence
  • Neglect
  • Honor violence
  • Early or forced marriage
  • Financial abuse

We are here to inform and support you on any decisions you choose to take. We help you in-house and /or refer you to other service providers in our community. Our services are confidential.

We promote public awareness of Gender-Based Violence.

Program hours are 9 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Services are offered in English as well as Afghani/Dari, Arabic, Hindi, Pashto, Punjabi, and Urdu.

This program is funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada and the Canadian Women’s Foundation.
