77 Units of Independent Living
Our 77 unit Guru Nanak Niwas, PICS’ Independent Living facility, is designed specifically for independent senior adults who want to enjoy a lifestyle filled with recreational, educational and social activities with other seniors. This complex is designed for seniors who are able to live on their own, but desire the security and conveniences of community living. This Independent Living facility offers an enriched lifestyle, with opportunity for seniors to socialize and interact with like minded seniors. They have access to a common lounge, kitchen, library, laundry facility, gym and facility to purchase meals.
All the units are subsidized by BC Housing. Those who wish to reside in the complex must be over 55, and have a low income. Located steps from Strawberry Hill Shopping Center, we are within walking distance from churches, temples, libraries, and other amenities.
