PICS Society’s unique and exciting SIYSCorps program brings together a diverse group of motivated youth to become active community ambassadors. We provide valuable leadership training, community engagement skills and volunteer placements, so that youth can build community connections. Training will also include job search skills, resume building, financial literacy and essential life skills that will help youth gain valuable experience in community engagement and enhancing employment opportunities.

Program Eligibility

  • Youth aged 15-30
  • Surrey Residents
  • Canadian Citizens, Permanent Resident or Refugee status Individuals encouraged to apply
  • Single parents/persons with low income
  • Self-identified as disabled

  • Indigenous
  • LGBTQ2
