PICS Active Ageing program is also called Humjoli, which translates to peer fellowship in Punjabi. Humjoli is a social group initiative targeting older South Asian women to reduce social isolation and connect seniors with community resources. The program provides opportunities to socialize, participate in group activities, receive peer support and connect with community resources.

The group activities include:

  • Sharing poetry
  • Singing
  • Yoga
  • Cooking
  • Meditation
  • Educational talks and peer sharing

The group meets every Tuesdays from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
