Fifty Four children between the ages of 6-12 participated in the PICS Summer Camp held in July. To say that the camp was a tremendous success would certainly be an understatement. The Summer program for kids was divided into two camps with 27 kids in each camp. The children took part in various arts and crafts activities, games and even went on field trips to the water park, movie theatre and the Vancouver aquarium! The purpose of this camp was to bring children of all ages and ethnicities to interact with one another through fun and engaging activities. Summer students, Jonathan Gomes and Brandon Bong coordinated the camp along with the help of twenty volunteers. A big thank you to them all! Finally, to the children who participated in the camp and whose presence was the sole cause for its success. Thank you United in Change for making this happen and thank you other donors and volunteers. Without your help this would not have been possible.
